2010 State Hazard Mitigation Plan (SHMP) Commenting Section
Welcome to the 2010 SHMP!
The California Emergency Management Agency (Cal EMA) welcomes your comment on the 2010 SHMP. The SHMP was approved by FEMA on October 6, 2010 and designated as an Enhanced State Mitigation Plan, which qualifies the State of California for receipt of increased hazard mitigation grant funds. The SHMP must be updated and approved by FEMA every three years to maintain federal hazard mitigation grant program eligibility. As part of this continual update process, we welcome your general and/or specific comments for future plan updates. Please click on the link below to review and/or comment on the 2010 SHMP.
We sincerely appreciate your time and participation in helping the
State of California become more disaster resilient!
